tuning, on/off switch, headphone socket, volume

In the prototype unit, the aerial was built on a separate board. This was formed by cutting down the main board. However, later experiments showed that the board can be left intact. There is enough space in the box for a complete 100mm by 160mm board.

The control board. The tuning capacitor should be mounted on a piece of copper clad board in order to reduce stray and hand capacitance effects when fox hunting
