Gloucester Amateur Radio and Electronics Society

Club Visit

On August 27th 2004, we visited a cornucorpia of old and military radio equipment, located in the Forest of Dean.
The site is NOT open to the public.

Never had we seen such a rich mixture of equipment in private hands.
I think that all of the club members, who were on the visit, recognised equipment that they had previously owned, used or worked on - and all of it was there - still in perfect working order.

Pat (G3MA), amongst the equipment.

Club members getting a demonstration on some working, second world war, military radio equipment.

Now where did I put that radio?

Click on the pictures for a larger copy in a new window, but note that the larger versions are 250 - 300KB each.
