Gloucestershire Repeater Group
NEW 70cm REPEATER

GB3UK is a new 70cm voice repeater that is located at Cleeve Common and which will be a great asset to mobile and fixed stations alike in the south west region.

The repeater has a WIDE split between the input and output frequencies.

Cleeve Common is the highest point in the Cotswolds some 330 meters above sea level. From this prime location, GB3UK will not only offer great long distance coverage but will also enable enhanced local urban coverage.

GB3UK
Output: 430.8625
Input: 438.4625
CTCSS: 118Hz “J” or 1750Hz Tone Burst
Offset: 7.6 MHz

As I write, the Notice of Variation (NOV) has been issued by the RSGB Emerging Technology Co-ordination Committee and the repeater should be live very soon. Check back here (or visit the GRG web site) for more details.

The GRG web site has more details on GB3UK and on all of the GRG repeaters and packet stations. Click here (or visit www.grg.org.uk) for more details.
